For the second year running, staff from Ascot Racecourse and 1711, our joint venture catering team, headed out to help some of the local charities that our Ascot Racecourse Supports charity/community programme supports, which included:
DINGLEY’S PROMISE: Tidying children’s sensory garden
RENOVA TRUST : Garden renovations at two homes for the homeless
THAMES HOSPICE: Getting Xmas ready
JAC: Grounds tidying
SLOUGH FOODBANK: Sorting donations
WINDSOR HOMELESS PROJECT: Sorting donations
WINDSOR RIDING FOR THE DISABLED: Painting barn and outbuildings
AGE CONCERN, BRACKNELL: Garden tidy
ASCOT DAY CENTRE: Running activities with members
COWSHED: Cleaning & organising donations
OAKBANK SCHOOL/ LEARNING TO WORK: Interview skills workshop for a local secondary school
In total, 370 volunteer hours were donated with 68 staff members taking part.
